South Bloomfield
cemetery vandalized Since April, vandals have caused about
$3,000 worth of damage to Harrison Township Cemetery. Over the past six to eight months, people have kicked out pieces of
the vinyl picket fence surrounding the cemetery, bent and pushed over iron benches and pushed over a Porta John several times,
according to South Bloomfield Sgt. Robert Dauberman. The police department has taken between nine and 12 reports about
the vandalism, Dauberman said. It is believed most of the vandalism occurs between 1 a.m. and 8. Dauberman asks people to
call the police department at 983-9482 if they see anything or anyone acting suspicious near the cemetery.
