September 09, 2007  - The South Bloomfield Division of Police attended the 9th Annual "Cops N' Kids Day" festivities held in Westerville, Ohio. This has been a growing event over the past several years bringing police and children together to pursue a positive relationship. Westerville Police has been instrumental in building this event, held on the 2nd Sunday of September each year, by collecting over $40,000 and having over 100 volunteers. Unfortunately this year they were unable to have helicopters from several agencies arrive due to the rainy weather, however that did not prevent several law enforcement agencies from showing up for the event.

South Bloomfield Officers displayed the "new look" of the department’s cruisers, in which several agencies and people were very impressed by the change.

August 25, 2007  - The South Bloomfield Division of Police attended the 3rd Annual "Get Behind The Badge" festivities held in Whitehall, Ohio. Several agencies from Central Ohio attended and the organization held raffles and secret ballots to generate funding to assist in it's mission to provide immediate financial aid to any law enforcement officer or firefighter who is critically injured or for the families of those killed in the line of duty.
