The South Bloomfield Division of Police is now accepting applications for the position of "Reserve/Auxiliary Officer". These are non-paid, voluntary positions. The minimum qualifications are:
* A minimum of 21 years of age
* High School graduate or GED equivilant
* State of Ohio Peace Officer Certification
* Reliable transportation
* Able to work during inclement weather, and in unfavorable conditions
* Be without any felony convictions within the last 20 years
* Be without any Domestic Violence convictions
* Successfully have passed or currently attending an OPOTA certified police academy
* Possess specific equipment, or have the ability to have specified equipment by time of appointment
